News Release: Reggae Month Kicks Off in Jamaica with City Festivals!

Jamaica, West Indies - City Festivals is thrilled to be a proud partner of Jamaica Reggae Industry Association as Reggae Month kicks off in Jamaica this February. As the hub of reggae music, Jamaica is set to host a series of vibrant events, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and musical talents that have made reggae a global phenomenon including the late Bob Marley and Dennis Brown.



The Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JARIA) is taking charge of the festivities, curating a diverse lineup of events that will captivate reggae enthusiasts from around the world. One of the highlights of the month-long celebration will be the event at the iconic Bob Marley Museum on February 6th.

This extraordinary evening will feature an array of reggae icons, including Tarrus RIley, Nadine Sutherland, Erool Dunkley, Jack Scorpio and man others . Prepare to be swept away by the rhythm and soul of reggae as these artists bring the stage to life with their electrifying performances.



In collaboration with the Urban Development Corporation of Jamaica, JARIA is proud to present free live reggae concerts every Wednesday throughout February at the Edna Manlry College of Performing Arts. This open-air extravaganza will allow both locals and visitors to immerse themselves in the pulsating beats and infectious melodies of reggae music while reveling in the vibrant atmosphere of the waterfront location.


The festivities continue to spread across the island, with Ocho Rios with "Reggae Cyaan Dunn Concert" at the Ocho Rios Bay Beach plus a Reggae Open University where reggae industry players can learn about elevating in the industry.
